Sole Food: Earth Therapeutics Foot Repair Kit

Earth Therapeutics Foot Repair Kit: Health & Beauty Review

My feet are not my proudest feature, so I wanted to change that with the Earth Therapeutics Foot Repair Kit. I’ve always worn bandages on my heels throughout the years since shoes aggravate them. If I’m wearing stiletto heels or flats, I’m also wearing bandages.

Luckily, I’ve gotten rid of the bandage process in the past year by using hidden liners, a thin, slip-on liner that separates the shoe and the foot. It has a soft, gel cushion for the heel, and they are easy to wash!

Looking past that, my feet still needed a little pick-me-up after a long day. I had a few coupons to use at ULTA, so I bought the Earth Therapeutics Foot Repair Kit to put a positive foot forward.

(On a side note, I am in no way affiliated with Earth Therapeutics, and this is not a sponsored article. These are SOLE-ly my thoughts on the product and how I use it!)

It’s a five-piece kit.

This includes…

  • Pumice stone
  • Small, foot-shaped bristle brush
  • Tea Tree Oil Cooling Foot Scrub
  • Tea Tree Oil Foot Repair Balm
  • Rolling foot massager

Each item is packaged neatly – and cutely! The pumice stone has a happy face on side of the box with text that reads “LOOK GOOD FEEL GOOD”.

Fun Facts

  • The Cooling Foot Scrub and Foot Repair Balm items are good for two years after opening.
  • There are NO animal by-products.
  • The products are cruelty-free.
  • The products are certified organic.

Here’s a look at the steps I take:

Step 1: Brace yourself for the pumice stone.

Scrape off any dead skin and calluses with the pumice stone. This might feel a little rough on your feet if you’ve never used it before. You’ll need to scrape your calluses for it to be effective. Don’t hurt yourself, but don’t use it too gently either or it won’t do its job. I’ve found this helpful on the upper left and right corners of my feet, on the inner corner of my big toes, and my tibial (bottom of the foot near the heel).

Step 2: Brush off excess skin and dirt.

Run some water and use the handy-dandy foot-shaped brush to get rid of excess dead skin or dirt leftover from the pumice stone. Rinse off your feet and gently dry them with a towel.

Step 3: Scrub!

Scrub-a-dub-dub, I love this stuff! The Cooling Foot Scrub smells good and it feels great on my feet. I usually apply a pea-sized amount of the scrub in one hand (per foot), mix it together in both hands, and then apply it all over the foot. I pay extra close attention to the rough parts, the parts scraped with the pumice stone, to make sure those areas heal properly. This serves as a nice little massage for your feet too.

Step 4: Brush it off.

Use the cute foot-shaped brush again to gently rinse off the scrub with warm water. We’re almost there!

Step 5: Apply the Foot Repair Balm.

I think this balm smells a little funky, but it feels great! This balm contains aloe vera to hydrate and heal. Lather up those feet and cover those calluses.

BONUS STEP: Wear socks!

Protect your feet with a fun pair of socks. Even if you’re just hanging out at home, socks will keep the moisture in, and the lint/other floor odysseys out!

Step 6: Roll out with a mini-massage.

I use the rolling foot massager right after the routine. I place this on my bath rug, and use my foot to roll it. It’s similar to foam rolling, if you’re familiar with that recovery method. You can focus on the tougher parts of your foot to roll out the kinks. It might hurt at first, but it will feel better in time. Your feet will thank you!

I’ve been using this kit for a month now. Most of my calluses are GONE. Disappeared. Zip, nada, zilch. The occasional dry skin is all that’s left, which just takes a little patience to maintain. If I see a callus pop up, I use the pumice stone right away to prevent it from getting any worse. It’s all about prevention and remedy.

Overall, I am happy with the Earth Therapeutics Foot Repair Kit. Let me know you’ve found a helpful foot remedy!

Remember to always put your best foot forward.
